Happy Birthday Nate!! ...and other news.....

Morgan is officially six weeks old, and we are no longer under house arrest! However, due to the ridiculous flu season, we will only be seeing the light of day on special occasions... Joy! Some highlights of the week-- Bailey loves to play the "gee-tar." Her and Daddy rock-out all the time. Whats even better then her playing? Her dance moves when daddy plays. Videos to come.

Happy Valentines Day!!

Sadly, this is the only pic I have of Nate... But I do want to wish him a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! The big 18! He is the only one that has gotten Morgan to smile for the camera. Well, the remnants of a smile...and some milk....

I love you Nate! You are the best Uncle to my girls and the best little bro I could ask for! You impress me with your wit, intelligence and compassion everyday. I am so glad I've got another year to spend with you before you head out on your mission. I'm gonna miss ya..... Love ya loads! Happy Birthday!!!!

1 month old!

Morgan and I have survived the first month! She is eating more, sleeping well... sometimes even at night!....and having more and more alert time every day. She is a sweet little girl unless you cross her. She's our little spit-fire and we love her!
Bailey got a new chair from her Aunt Amy, so she decided she wanted to eat her breakfast in the living room.... cute.

Fun times!
We're all doing well at the Shepard house. Can't wait to get out of the house and back into society! Only 2 more weeks!

This is what I get...

I would like to publicly apologize to my mom for all my childhood misdeeds, tom-fooleries and general lack of appreciation for her valuable belongings. I see clearly now why she placed her more valued possessions in higher locations, and took great care in hiding her treasures...and I greatly admire her for not threatening bodily harm on us when we disobeyed instructions and broke said property. I do this because my child decided to use my sheets as a canvas for discovery and art. Please note her use of contrast and shading. Wall*E was a witness to the aforementioned crime.

She doesn't look proud, but believe me... she (and I) are
pretty pleased with her artistic capacities.
Nice.
Don't worry, though... I don't buy expensive sheets...Peace out.
