Updates!

We're a little late posting this week, but I have some cute updated pictures of the girls. Morgan is 3 1/2 weeks old, and Bailey is still my angel baby and the best big sister! With the weather being so finicky lately, we haven't been able to play outside very much. Thankfully, the weather was BEAUTIFUL today, so we got to get out and enjoy it. Here's a few shots we got of our little acrobat. Bailey jumping on her trampoline. Thanks grandma and grandpa!

3 1/2 weeks old... It's going by too quickly...

Bailey is talking more and more everyday and surprises us with how much she knows. She already knows all the letters of the alphabet and can tell you what each one says. She also loves to sing and can count to 15! She is such an incredible little girl. Morgan likes to eat, sleep and is starting to have a little more alert time every day. She is a cutie and to be honest, that is the only thing that keeps me sane at the 3 am feedings!

Oh, we went to the doctor last week and she is already 9lbs 6 oz. A big girl! Brock and I are lucky to have 'em. We'll keep you updated!

I am a horrible mom... and I have PROOF!!

A few days ago, I posted a sad little picture of bug asleep awkwardly in her chair. I felt awful when it happened, and immediately vowed to never let it happen again. So here I sit... mother of the year. It happened again. Twice. Please don't call CPS.Nap time. In her chair. sigh.

Happy Anniversary!

To celebrate our four years together, I thought I'd write down some of the signifigant, fun and memorable things we've done together.

1- Our first apartment. We lived at the Loft's on Post Oak for our first year....Right by the Galleria. It was beautiful and we felt spoiled just being there! Brock also bought me my first NEW car while we lived there. We were able to spend that first year together without a lot of fuss and in our own little spot. Priceless memories.

2- Our first house together. We bought a house in Sienna Plantation. It was a perfect fit, we got to meet a lot of people in our ward and made awesome new friends.

3- Having Bailey. She is our joy. I wasn't prepared in any way to have her, but I thank Heavenly Father everyday that she was sent to us. Brock is an amazing father to her. Bailey, Morgan and I are lucky to have him in our lives.

4- New house and new addition!! We moved into our new house just in time! Brock spoiled us with a bigger house, and we filled it up with a new little girl. I am so blessed to have two healthy, beautiful babies. I couldnt ask for a better partner to handle the daily stesses and amazingly joyful moments.

I am amazed by all that has happened to us in the past four years. It has flown by! Thank you for working so hard, being supportive and loving me. You are an amazing man. Happy Anniversary babe! I love you!

Two weeks old... Well almost....

Time is flying by... We have Morgan's first doctors appointment this week... She will be two weeks tomorrow, which is also Brock and I's 4 year anniversary! Just thought I would update with a few pictures. Things are going well, and I will let ya'll know how she does at the doctor.

Morgan is a week old today! Today is also Brock's first day at work, so I am flying solo... Not too bad so far. Bailey has really taken to being a big sister, and wants to do everything Morgan does. It is crazy having two in the house, but I am loving every minute of it! Morgan's first ride in the car... since the hospital...Can you believe she is a week old already?

Welcome Baby Morgan!!!

She finally arrived!! Morgan Jean Shepard made her grand entrance January 7, 2009 at 1:14 am. She weighed in at 8 lbs 4 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long.

She is absolutely beautiful and we are so blessed and excited to have her in our family. Bailey has been the best big sister a girl and mommy could ask for! Bai is not too sure that she likes Mommy feeding Morgan, but she loves to kiss her, and hold her and tell everyone around her that she is a big sister. Labor was quick and wonderful, and we couldnt have asked for a better experience. Welcome home, Morgan! We love you!

Still Pregnant?!?!?!

As many of you know, Bailey joined our family four weeks earlier then we anticipated. This was after she had tried to jump ship at 30 weeks, causing a hospital visit, etc.... She weighed 7lbs 13 0z and was 21 inches long.... four weeks early.....Now jump to present day. I am 39 weeks pregnant!!! Morgan has yet to arrive!!! What size is this child going to be? When is she going to come? I am losing patience now... But, to all my friends and family--especially those who say I don't look pregnant in any of my pictures.... here you go.... But be forwarned. If you've eaten in the past few hours.... you might want to check back when your stomach has settled. It isn't pretty ladies...;) This is at my shower the beginning of November.... Yes, over a month ago.....

I will take more today and add them later.... And I am working on patience. It is a blessing to be having a baby, and I know that and appreciate this time I have with her. I'm also tired, and bloated, and sore and cranky..... ugh.
